Haha! Brudder Ranger gets that look on his face sometimes, too. I found that if you just keep doing it, eventually you wear them down - um, I mean - they come to luvs you.
I think my Chico feels the same exact way about Shiver! He doesn't like Shiver but tolerates him! It's funny though, when they run around in the yard, they're pretty good buddies. Then they come in and Chico tries to get away from Shiver.
