Vick Misses Appearance, Shows No Remorse

Sounds familiar, though, doesn't it. He disappointed 1,500 paying partygoers in the process, and stuck a 23-year-old newbie promoter with a loss of about $20,000.

His manager claimed that his flight was cancelled, but inquiries with the airlines proved that that wasn't true. The "dependable" Vick missed his flight and in turn missed his appearance for which he received one half of his $10,000 fee up-front. The promoter had also agreed to cover $5,000 in travel expenses for Vick.

The best part? When he promoter spoke with Vick, Vick was rude and unapologetic. Shocking, I know!

Vick never ceases to amaze.

  1. It's just possible that Vick is a total...well, rhymes with Vick is all I'll say. When humans apologize for horrible behavior it doesn't mean that much if they HAVE to, does it? Sorry about the promoter. He should be able to sue, but you have to wonder who would hire Vick for something like that anyway.

  4. Knowing the type of person he is, it is inevitable it would happen. Then again, the promoter should have known better: who would want to pay money and use Vick as a source to attract other people to an event?

  6. I have to say I am surprised that 1500 people would pay to see this piece of garbage - 1500 people I never wish to meet (along with the promoter - I have no sympathy for someone promoting this scumbag loosing money).

  8. I was just thinking the same thing Amy and The House of Cats was - where'd they possibly find 1500 people who were in the least bit interested in paying to see Vick? I wouldn't walk across the street to see the man for free, let alone actually pay to see him!

It does not surprise me in the least that he showed no remorse.

  9. I agree with Amy. I can't believe so many people would pay to see him! When you couldn't pay me or my two leggers to see him. What a...--- mom said I'm too young to use those words. You get the idea.
